Adelaide Comets regrets to advise that due to injury, international player Maarten Boddaert has been sidelined for the remainder of the 2017 PlayStation 4 National Premier League SA season.
Coach Theo Tsiounis said that Maarten, who last took to the pitch in Round 10, will be missed.
“It is unfortunate that he has aggravated an old injury so it makes it hard for him to continue which is a shame because he has been fantastic for us,” he said.
“Not only with the team but for the Club, to have his quality, experience and professionalism, it has given us a bit of insight in to how to do things at a different level.”
Boddaert is equally disappointed about the departure.
“It is unfortunate that my injury has forced my season to end at this point, I have really enjoyed it,” he told.
“I have loved my time in Adelaide and being a part of the Comets Family has been a pleasure.”
Adelaide Comets wishes Maarten the best of luck for his future endeavours and thanks him for his time with the Club.
